Frequently asked questions.

  • Glebe Cottage is a self-catering holiday home, so you will need to bring your own provisions, however our kitchen includes a full inventory of typical items you would find in your own kitchen so you shouldn’t need to bring anything else with you.

  • We always advise you to take out travel insurance to cover any trip you have planned in case your circumstances change.

Cancellation up to 30 before arrival: Full refund given (less any bank charges).

Cancellation within 30 days of arrival: The full value of the booking will be charged as a cancellation fee.

  • You are welcome to bring your well behaved dogs with you to Glebe Cottage.

The Padstow area is perfect for dog-friendly holidays, with so much choice for lovely, varied walks through some of Cornwall’s most stunning countryside. And most of the local Pubs and Restaurants welcome dogs.

Dogs will be charged at £35 per pet per stay, and a maximum of two large, or 3 medium are allowed.

Dogs are not allowed upstairs and please do not leave them unattended in the house - many thanks!

We do a thorough clean after every stay to ensure all dog hairs are clear so that every guest has a five star stay.

  • The garden is fully fenced, but one side of the garden has a typical Cornish slate wall, and hence it is not 100% secure in places. A determined dog could probably escape.

There is a bus stop at the end of the drive, and there are local taxi companies, but the car is the easiest form of transport.
