Foodie Heaven

The Camel Estuary is famous as a foodie destination. Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth and neighbouring chefs have put Padstow very firmly on the culinary map. Cornish produce is being taken to a whole new dimension and it’s the perfect place to sample great local food and drink.

    Just 25 mins by car, or a passenger ferry ride from Padstow, it’s a really popular destination - with good reason, so remember to book early!

    For over 90 years, Barnecutt’s have provided the most delicious baked goods. With a small store in St Merryn, and large new store in Wadebridge - you won’t be disappointed

  • Cherry Trees Coffee House

    With a prime location on the Padstow Harbour Walls, they sell “THE” best Coffee, Milkshakes, Sandwiches and Cakes (in our humble opinion)!! Eat in or Take Out

  • Treviskers Garden Centre

    On the main road into Padstow, and walkable across the fields from Glebe. It sells great coffee and very nice chips. Book ahead for Sunday Lunch carvery

  • Rick Stein's Fish & Chips

    Down in the working heart of Padstow Harbour, selling the freshest fish, shellfish and seafood dishes. It’s quite pricey compared to others, but we thinks it’s the best

Farm Shops

  • Pentruse Farm Shop

    This local farm shop is a short drive away, and operates an Honesty Policy. It has a great selection of local meats, baked goods, dairy product and treats. Payment by card is accepted.

  • Padstow Farm Shop

    Showcasing great food and drink from neighbouring Tregirls Farm and other locally sourced goods - supporting local producers as well as maintaining a lower carbon footprint along the way.

  • St Kew Farm Shop & Café

    Further afield (15 minute drive), this farm shop and café is a haven of well made, quality goods from makers, artists, coffee roasters, breweries all the way to local farmers with fresh local produce.
